As humans, we all believe we’re individuals, and what makes us different is what makes us special. But what’s the one thing we all have in common? Well, if you made it this far, that means all of us — or at least all of us here — can read. Now, unfortunately, that does eliminate a lot of people from the conversation (the theoretical conversation) we’re about to have. Now, keeping in mind you’re capable of taking in information, think about this: in a group setting, tone, delivery, and even making the wrong face can have a message get lost. But here, if you take the time to remind yourself somebody put words together, maybe there’s something I can learn — or at least a different point of view to understand. I’m not sure how you stumbled across this article or my X, but either way, you’re here. Look around whatever place you found this on with new eyes. Pride prevents learning — check out the world with curiosity, not condemnation. Someone put effort into writing this, so there might be something worth picking apart if you approach it without a wall up. Curiosity’s the key — it’s how you spot what’s real instead of just shutting it down
