On January 6, 2021, a group of protestors gathered in Washington D.C. to protest the results of the 2020 presidential election. The protest eventually turned into a violent clash with law enforcement, resulting in many arrests and injuries.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) played a significant role in the aftermath of the event, with many people being arrested and charged for their involvement in the protest. However, it has recently come to light that the DOJ had access to video recordings of the event that were not disclosed to the public, leading to many people being falsely jailed.
In fact, according to recent reports, the DOJ’s own team had bookmarked portions of the video that showed evidence of protestors not being violent, such as the case of the Q Shaman, also known as Jacob Chansley. Despite this, the DOJ kept the recordings secret, leading to false arrests and a breach of trust with the American people.
This is not only a violation of due process but also a misuse of taxpayer money. The DOJ has a responsibility to disclose all evidence that could exonerate individuals, and by hiding these tapes, they failed to fulfill that responsibility.
Furthermore, the decision to keep these tapes secret raises questions about the DOJ’s motives and intentions in prosecuting those involved in the event. It is essential to uphold the rule of law and ensure that justice is served, but it is equally important to do so transparently and without bias.
The fact that the DOJ kept these tapes secret undermines the integrity of our justice system and erodes the public’s trust in it. It is time for the DOJ to be held accountable for its actions and to ensure that all evidence is disclosed to the public to prevent any further injustices.
Tucker Carlson of Fox News released video footage that had been hidden by the Department of Justice (DOJ) for months. The video shows that the events that took place at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th were not quite the violent insurrection that the mainstream media and some politicians have claimed.
As a result, the same people who were caught lying about the events at the Capitol are now attacking Tucker Carlson for showing the American people the truth. This is a laughable turn of events, to say the least.
From the very beginning, the media and certain politicians have been pushing a narrative that January 6th was an attempted coup, a violent insurrection, and an attack on democracy. They claimed that supporters of former President Donald Trump stormed the Capitol and caused widespread destruction and violence.
However, the video footage released by Tucker Carlson tells a different story. It shows that, while some individuals engaged in violent and destructive behavior, the majority of people at the Capitol were peaceful protesters exercising their First Amendment rights.
Furthermore, the DOJ had been hiding this footage from the American people, which raises serious questions about transparency and accountability. Why did the DOJ keep this footage a secret? What other information are they hiding from the public?
It is outrageous that journalists are attacking Tucker Carlson for doing his job as a journalist – seeking and exposing the truth. The media should be celebrating the release of this footage, not trying to suppress it.
This is a clear example of how certain people and organizations will stop at nothing to push their own agenda, even if it means lying to the American people and hiding the truth from them. We must demand transparency and accountability from our government, and we must hold the media accountable for their actions.
